Pikitu Marae asked us to custom design a website that incorporated the look and feel of their marae while also having the ability to switch to a Te Reo version of the website, from their responses we feel we have certainly achieved these things. The marae also wanted to transitions their previously paper-laden whanau registration process to a streamlined online version with an approval process. We implemented this into an online membership system which gives all types of whanau members access to specific areas of the website not viewable by public. The system also allows members to upload and comment on photos, creating an online community. As with all our websites, the management are able to audit their members, update all the content of the website themselves, send out newsletters and much more.
